The sum of £5/10/- obtained from three collection boxes in Greymouth has been forwarded to the Barnado’s Homes Helpers’ League by Miss C. Brown, the local secretary. In a letter of thanks, Miss V. Roche, of Wellington, Dominion representative, states that, though there are no Barnado’s Homes in this country, the support given has been greatly appreciated in Britain, where the need is greater than ever.
