The depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 22 feet four inches. WEATHER FORECAST. The following is the district forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, to-day:— ■Situation: A shallow trough lies across the centre of the Dominion, with a deep trough moving on to the Western Tasman. Forecast to 5 p.m. Wednesday: Moderate to fresh northerly winds. Weather: Cloudy to overcast, with occasional rain. Temperatures moderate. Further outlook: Similar conditions.
