REEFTON, November tf. The Reef ton Fire Brigade has a team in practice to compete at the United West Coast Fife Brigades demonstration to be held at Hokitika in November. Secretary V. L. Newcombe (Reefton) has been nominated for the position of vice-president, o! the association. County workmen have completed an additional two blocks of footpath improvement in Upper Broadway. A commencement fe to be made shortly with the work of• kerbing and channelling of Buller Road from Raanfi Street to the railway station to make a formed footpath.
