BERMUDA’S REQUEST
HAMILTON, November 4. The Bermuda Legislative Council' has proposed that Bermuda should become the headquarters of the United Nations’ League. Sir Stanley Spruling told the House that there was plenty of support in Canada, New Zealand and the United States for the idea of making Bermuda ‘ the Geneva of the post-war world. Notes regarding the proposal had already been sent to the British ana American Governments.
