Sgt. C. Fraser, R.N.Z.A.F., is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Fraser, Alexander Street.

Mr. F. A. Kitchingham returned to Greymouth yesterday from Wellington, alter attending . the Municipal Conference. Mr. F. H. Denton has also returned from Wellington, where he attended a conference of Town Clerks.

Flying Officer Arthur Green, son of Mrs. J. W. Jope, of Cape Foulwind, has been reported missing on air operations. He left New Zealand two years ago and trained with the R.N.Z.A.F., in Canada prior to going to England. He was a member of the Grey and Hokitika Aero Clubs, and prior to his enlistment was contracting in South Westland.

A Melbourne cablegram stated that the Prime Minister (Mr. Curtin), who has been confined to his bed since Tuesday has gone into a private hospital His medical advisers consider the. Prime Minister needs a further complete rest and he has entered nospital for that purpose. It is understood that there has been no actual deterioration in the state o> Mr. Cui - tin’s health and doctors believe a rest in. hospital will soon clear up his indisposition.
