Deaths of Horses: Deaths o£ the following horses have been reported: Final Test, Gold Flight, Jewel Pointer, Jovial, Lady Orange, and Parkdale.

Vote of Condolence: A vote of condolence with the relations of Mr W. G Garrard was carried at a meeting of the Board of the New Zealand Trotting Association last evening. Mr B. McCarthy, who in the absence of the President (Mr H. W. Kitchingham) was chairman, said Mr Garrard had been a member of the Trotting Association in its early stages and had done good work in the compilation of the Stud Book. YEARLING TROTTERS FIRST ANNUAL SALE CHRISTCHURCH, November 3. The first annual national sale of trotting and pacing-bred was held at the Addington Trotting Club’s course to-day.
