RUNANGA NOTES

The Runanga Co-op. Women’s Guild held their study circle evening in the Druids’ Hall, Mrs. Oakley presiding over a good attendance. Members stood as a mark of sympathy with the relations of the late Mr. F. G. Pone. Mesdaraes Oakley and Airns were appointed delegates to the Price Tribunal Committee. Arrangefnents were made for the party to be given to the old age pensioners, also the Guild Christmas party. Impromptu speeches were given by each member. Winners of card cutting were Mes-
dames Welsh and Airns. Supper was served by the hostesses after which community singing was enjoyed. Music was supplied by Mrs. Reynolds.
