CRICKET WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. By 17 votes to 12 the New- Zealand Cricket Council decided at its annual meeting to-night to revert to the six ball over for all matches played by teams under the Council's control. The following officers were elected: Patron Sir Cyril Newall; President, Lieutenant Colonel J. H. Phillips; honorary treasurer, Mr. E. R. Caygill; honorary secretary, Mr. E. E. Luttrell; hon. auditor, Mr. J. Byrne; management committee, Messrs D. E. Wanklyn, J. L. Kerr, J. Ramsden, I. B. Cromb, and H. M. Taylor. Marist v. United, Sunday at Rec:— Knowles (2), Duggan, Clancy, Morris (2), Garforth, Meates, Coyle, McKenzie, Brown, Keating, Barclay, Haines, McGirr, Thompson. United v. Marist.—Blair, Hopgood, Lawson, Blocksage, Glen, Duffeld, Westwood, B. Marshall, Drew, Jefcoate, Jones, Osmers, Tindale, Dittman. Cricket teams for publication when, space permits, must be received by b} a.m. ; on Fridays.
