LONDON, Now 1. “About 700 Spanish guerrillas w'ho crossed into Spain a week ago were led into a trap and massacred by members of the Falange, according to reports reaching the French-Spanish frontier,” says the British United Press. “The guerrillas first met Spanish regular soldiers, who offered to help them. . General Franco’s men then informed their leaders of the guerrillas’ presence. The Falangists allowed the guerrillas to penetrate some distance into Spain from the Border. They then attacked them in strength near Pamplona, and forced them into a ravine where they wiped rhem out.”
