MOTORIST KILLED WELLINGTON, October 31. Struck on the jaw by a fence railing which his car struck in Queen s drive, Lyall Bay, this afternoon, a hotel chef, Wilfred Lowe, married, aged 44, of Wellington, was killed outright. Lowe was the only occupant of the car, which struck a fence on the left-hand side of the road. The railing ran through the bonnet, and knocked him into the back seat. The car careered across the road and came to rest in some bushes, on its wheels, but badly damaged.
