An appeal by the New Zealand Returned Services’ Association lor mbre ( attention to the inculcation of the principles of loyalty and patriotism, a sense of personal and national responsibility, and an appreciation of a controlled democracy compared with other philosophies, was endorsed by : the Educational Conference yesterday at Christchurch. The Returned Services’ Association also urged that changes by regulation in the education system be dropped in favour of bringing the major issues before Parliament, because of their importance to the people.
