NO INDENTURED LABOUR
CANBERRA, Sept. 22. It was the Government’s intention to abandon the indentured native labour system in external territories, declared the Minister in Charge (Mr. Ward) in the House of Representatives. In future, control over native labour would be in Government hands, and not in those of private individuals.
