ON THE SEAS
U-BOAT SUNK RUGBY, June 16. A five hundred ton U-boat, attempting to reach the Atlantic ship-' ping lanes, was spotted by a Wellington of the R.C.A.F. Coastal. Command and sunk, states the Air Ministry News Service. SWEDISH SHIP MINED LONDON, June 15. The Swedish Foreign Office announced the Swedish Red Cross ship, Fenja, was sunk between Calind and the Turkish mainland, “probably as the result of striking a mine.”
