GABLE ON REAL WAR
WASHINGTON, October 28. Hundreds of girl stenographers and clerks jammed the corridors oi the Army’s" huge Pentagon Building as Captain Clark Gable, the film actor, held his first Press conference since his return from active duty .in England. Gable brought back 50,000 feet of colour film depicting Flying Fortress raids, which will be edited in Hollywood. Discussing his experiences in five raids on France, Belgium, and Germany, Gable said: “I was scared, especially when the fighters got a little close. There is no comparison between Hollywood wars and the real thing—when they are coming at you.”
