BENGAL DESTITUTION
(Recd. 1 p.m.) CALCUTTA, Kov. 17. In the fortnight ended November 13, the police picked up 1113 bodies of destitute persons from streets, 1014 destitute persons died in hospital in the same period, in which also the Corporation recorded 3835 deaths from all causes, compared with 1290 for the corresponding fortnight last year.
