KAIATA NOTES

A pleasant social took place recently' in the Kaiata School, the occasion being the coming of age of Pearl, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Faulkner.

The evening was spent in dancing and novelty games etc. interspersed with vocal items contributed by Mrs. R. Findley. Sapper W. Muir, Mr. R. Gibbens, Mr. R. Holmes, and Mrs. G. Worsley. They were accompanied by Mrs. J. Bourke at the piano and Mr. E. Cogger. Mr. J. Guerin was M.C. About 150 guests were present. In the absence of the guest of honour’s father, her cousin John Faulkner performed the duties of presenting (he customary key, to which the recipient suitably responded. She received many presents.
