VIOLIN RECITAL.
In continuation of the music appreciation scheme in operation in the Blackball School Miss Colleen Phillips. of Greymouth, gave . a violin recital of classical selections this week. A feature of the recital was a detailed account of the making of the violin, the method of sound production and i he making of notes. Mrs. J. Bateman was accompanist. Votes of appreciation were moved by Neil Grindle and Jsobel Driscoll.
