It is notified that for the Seventh Licensing Period: 1. The basic allocation for walnuts from India is increased by 50 per cent. 2. The additional allocation for carpets authorised in March may be utilised for imports of coir mats and matting from India. 3. Logs, round and unworked, n.e.i. are now regarded as a “control” item. 4. Licenses, additional to basic allocation will be granted as follows: (a) Gluten Flour, 25 per cent, of 1942 licenses from same source, (b) Nuts (all kinds including peanuts) from British India, 50 per cent, of 1942 licenses all sources, (c) Desiccated Cocoanut from Ceylon 50 per cent, of 1942 licenses same source, (d) Cinnamon etc. and spices unground from any source, 50 per cent, of 1940 licenses all sources, (e) Hand-knitting yarn etc., from United Kingdom 50 per cent, of 1940 licenses same source.
