Metropolitan Golf Club members who complained to the manpower authorities about the calling 'tip of gr.eenkoepers for war work have been told to keep the greens in order themselves. It has also been suggested that some parts of golf courses should be devoted to vegetable growing, as in England. The call-up of greenkeepers will continue.
