The case of a mine trucker whose work was stated to have been so unsatisfaotory that his mates had lodged complaints came before the Armed Forces Appeal Board in Greymouth to-day. The mine manager said that for a time the man “either couldn’t or wouldn’t” work, and he had been placed on a different shift to enable the men to keep an eye on him. He was now doing his work fairly satisfactorily. The Board dismissed the application for leave to adopt an appeal for reservist, who was aged 21 and whose posting to camp had been postponed meanwhile. .....
