COBDEN CLUB’S MEETING
The annual meeting of the Cobden Football Club was held last evening, Mr F. W. Baillie presiding over a fair attendance.
The annual report and balanceshfiet, showing a good credit balance, were read and adopted. The election of officers resulted: — Patron, Mr T. A. Gilmour (reelected); president, Mi' F. W. Baillie (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs F. Eggelton (senr.), AV. Mcßean, W. Jackson, W. Kells, J. Lindbom, W. Gieseking, A. Bennett, F. Eggelton (junr.), J. Tanner; club captain, Mr A. Lindbom (re-elected); secre.tarytreasurer, Mr G. Todd (re-elected); committee, Messrs A. Bellamy, W. Mcßean, J. Keating, B. Mettrick, G. McLean, B. Watkin, R. Cochrane, J. Haddock. It was decided to nominate a senior team and a third grade team in the W.C.R.U. competitions, the subscriptions to be 5/- for seniors and 2/- for juniors, as last season. Arrangements were made for a working bee to prepare the gymnasium and the ground for training, which will commence on Thursday.
