BOMBAY, April 3. Although he is imprisoned with other Congressmen, Doctor M. D. D. Filder has been elected Mayor of Bombay.

Sir Percy Laurie, who is Provost Marshal of the United Kingdom, has been fined £550, with £36/15/costs for using two ration books, one being a civilian book and the other a military book.
