The death took place at Christchurch, to-day,‘ of Mrs. Ann Kells, widow of William Kells, at the age of 93 years. The late Mrs. Kells was an old resident of the West Coast, having resided at Dobson for a number of years. Her husband died three years ago. She is survived by five daughters, Mesdames Russ (Camerons), Gage . (Reefton), Hartshorne (Motueka), Kelly (Christchurch), and Sweetman (Auckland): and five sons, Alfred and Fi’ed (Auckland), Gordon (Wellington), Arthur (Australia), and William (Cobden).
The death occurred this morning, at Greymouth, of Mrs. Muriel Burrows, aged 30, the wife of Mr. Jack Burrows, junr., of Ahaura, after a •brief illness. A native of Reefton, Mrs. Burrows had until four years ago resided in Barrytown, moving to Ahaura after her marriage. She is survived by her husband and two young children, also her father, Mr. T. F. Richards, of Christchurch; one sister, Mrs. E. Tanner, of Frankton Junction; and four brothers, Archibald (Barrytown), Mervyn (Ikamalua), Frederick (Greymouth), and Henry (Christchurch). The funeral will take place at Ahaura on Wednesday afternoon.
The death took place at the Westland Hospital, yesterday, of Mr. Albert Fensom, of Kumara. A native of Braidwood, New South Wales, Mr. Fensom, who was 70 years of age, came to the Dominion 40 years ago and had since resided at Cape Terrace and Kumara. For a number of years he was a Borough Councillor. Mr. Fensom is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. R. J. Little Christchurch) and Mrs. G. Hewison (Ikamatua) and a son, Mr. A. J. Fensom (Kumara). He also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Randall (Auckland) and two residing in Australia; and five brothers, Messrs T. Fensom (Black’s Point, Reefton), Edward Fensom (Kokatahi), and three residing in Australia.
