N.Z. PLANE CRASH

WELLINGTON, January 28.

Two members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, both residents of Wanganui, lost their lives during a night flying test at a South Island air station on Wednesday, when their aircraft crashed.

They were: Sergeant Louis John Norfolk Gumbley. Father, Mr C. N. Gumbley, 64 Bignell Street, Wanganui; and Acting-Corporal Eric Courtney Bell. Mother, Mrs J. C. Bell, Springvale Road, Wanganui.
