Beau Vite to be retired: A Sydney cablegram states that trainer Frank McGrath has announced that Beau Vite probably will not race again. A veterinary, giving an opinion, says that further training may result in Beau Vite being crippled for all time. It is likely that he will be offered for sale as a sire. Beau Vite has risked a complete breakdown during his last two years of training. He always had an enlarged off fore fetlock joint, and he has done wonderfully well to stand as long as he has. Beau Vite has won £26,680 in prize money.

at satisfactory prices.
