REEFTON, August 11. Major AV. Gore Porter, Battalion Commander Home Guard, Lieutenant Inwood and Lieutenant J. Crossman who have been attending a weekend specialist course for officers have returned. Lieutenant J. K. Patterson, who has been attending an instructional course for Home Guardsmen, has also returned. _ , • Pupils of Reefton High School are at present conducting a waste-paper drive. A class competition is being held. The local drive for waste materials should benefit considerably by the children’s efforts.
