AIR CASUALTIES.
WELLINGTON, June 3. The following air casualties, all in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, unless it is otherwise stated, are announced:-— Callaghan, Douglas, Sgt., killed in an aircraft accident. Dunedin. Herbert, Ronald Ernest. Sgt., killed in an aircraft accident. Morrinsville. Ryan, John Patrick, Pilot Officer, R.C.A.F., missing on air operations. Timaru. Ware, Leicester Bond, Pilot Officer, killed in action. Christchurch. Wilkinson, Mervyn, Sgt., killed in an aircraft accident. Huntly. Williams, John Syddall, Sgt., killed in an aircraft accident. Mr T. S. Williams. Grey mouth (f.) Drake, Francis Ernest, Sgt., R.A.F., of Auckland, previously reported missing, believed killed, death now officially presumed. Scragg, Reuben Acton, Sgt., of Hastings,. previously reported missing believeo' killed, death now officially presumed. Stewart, Charles, Pilot Officer, R.A.F., of Wellington, previously reported missing, death now officially presumed. Walker, Graeme Stuart, Sgt., of Te Kuili, previously reported missing, death now officially presumed. NAVAL CASUALTY. WELLINGTON. June 4. The following naval casually was announced to-day:—Temporary SubLieutenant Francis Patrick Joseph Flannagan (A) R.N.Z.N.V.R., killed in a flying accident.
