MEMBERS IN CANBERRA.
CANBERRA, February. 23. The all-party New Zealand Mission, headed by Messrs. Sullivan and Coates, have arrived in Canberra. They have had a long interview witn the Prime Minister (Mr. Curtin). After the interview the mission attended a meeting of the Advisory War Council. . . . _ , The visit of the mission to war co-operation. MR. FRASER’S STATEMENT. WELLINGTON, February 23. “The people of New Zealand ana Australia are bound closer than over by the common danger threatening them,” the Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) said to-day. “The visit of Mr. Sullivan and Mr. Coates to the Commonwealth is probably one of many exchanges between the Governments and staffs of the two countries. He added that the present visit would include talks on mutual defence, strategy and supply, and would include consultations with Admiral Leary.
