Karu sailed early this morning, with timber for Wellington. Hokitika arrived early this morning. with cargo from Wellington. She will proceed to Hokitika to-night, to load timber for Wellington. Holmlea is due on Saturday morning from Tarakohe, to load coal for Nelson, sailing Saturday night. Alexander is due on Sunday, with cement from Tarakohe, and will load timber for Port Waikato.

Gabriella is loading timber for Auckland. Kartigi is expected on Monday, from Wellington, to load coal for return. Totara is due on Monday from New Plymouth, to load coal for Wellington.
