BANK INTEREST RATES. WELLINGTON, July 16. The Associated Banks, announce the interest rates on fixed deposits received or renewed on or after July 17, tomorrow, are as follow: Three months and under 6 months, 3 per cent, per annum; six months and under 12 months, 1| per cent.; 12 months and under 24 months, 2 : i per cent.; 24 months, two per cent. MINING RETURNS. BARRYTOWN. During the first half of July the Barrytown dredge ran 227 hours, treated 91,000 cubic yards, for a return of 194 ounces. KANIERI. During the first half of July the Kaniefi dredge ran 214 hours, treated 95,000 cubic yards, for a return of 562 ounces. ARAHURA. During the first half of July, the Arahura dredge ran 211 hours, treated 105,000 cubic yards, for a return of 538 ounces. « NGAHERE. Ngahere return for the half-month ending July 15, 1941, is 301 oz from 131,500 yards worked in 254 hours.
