SHIPPING NOTES. Karu sails for Wellington when bar conditions are favourable. She is due back about April 7, to load timber for Wellington. Pukeko is expected to-day, from Wellington, to load coal for Miramar. She returns to Greymouth on Friday next to load coal for Wellington. Karepo is due on Sunday evening, with cargo from Auckland, and after discharge will load coal and timber for Auckland.

Kaimiro is expected on Monday, from Wellington, to load coal for return. , Gabriella is due from Gisborne on Friday next to load coal and timber for Wellington and Napier. Alexander is to sail to-night, with timber for Port Waikato and Onehunga. Shd is to return to Greymouth via Nelson, being due next Saturday, to load timber for Port Waikato.

Titoki is due on Thursday, to load coal to Nelson. She will return on April 7, to load coal for Castlecliff.
