Twenty-seven men drawn in the ballot for overseas service were medically examined at Greymouth this morning. Sixteen were passed as nt, 10 were certified as temporarily unfit, and one as permanently unfit. Two Forestry Company recruits were examined, and passed as fit, and the case of one Territorial for re-examination was deferred. There have been two additional postings, A. C. Green and A. T. Gibson, to the Forestry Company at Trentham, and they will leave Greymouth on Tuesday next.
