INJURED SEAMAN. [per press association.] AUCKLAND, January 15. As a result of advice given by radio from the Auckland Hospital, the American motor-ship Cleyedon, bound from. Sydney to Bglboa, is expected to arrive in port to-morrow .evening to land a seriously injured seaman. In the meantime, the acting medical superintendent of the hospital, Dr. W. The Association has the co-operation of .the Defence .Department, and invites the co-opera-tion of all interested in girls’ marching in the Dominion. UNIVERSITY. SENATE. . AUCKLAND, January 16. ..The Senate of. the University of New Zealand opened the annual sessions, at Auckland, with an address by the Chancellor, Hon. J. A. Hanan. Associated with him in the direction of the deliberations are the Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Hight (Christchurch) and the Vice-Chancellor, Sir Thomas Hunter (Wellington). Members of the Senate are present from all parts of the Dominion.
