“GREAT DICTATOR” FILM. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] MONTEVIDEO, January 15. The Government of Uruguay has authorised the exhibition of an uncut version of the film, “The Great Dictator.” The police are taking precautions, however, against any disturbances. The first showing will be to-morrow. It will be also shown to the people in the city of Colonia, across the river from Buenos Aires, where it is banned, with steamers offering special fares.
ALIEN DOCTORS. LONDON. Jauary 15. Refugee doctors, including Italian and German doctors, may now be included, temporarily, in the medical register in Britain. This is provided that they are selected for a medical commission in one of the services or for employment at an hospital, or an institution not involving their attendance oh patients in their own homes.. This step is due to there being increasing demands on the services of the doctors for war purposes. AGA KHAN. (Received January 16, 11.30 a.m.) BOMBAY, January 15. Ismaili Moslems plan, to present the Aga Khan with his own weight in diamonds, valued at at least £6,000,000, on the occasion of the diamond jubilee of his accession as their spiritual leader. .
