IN PORT Korowai, Holmlea. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Kartigi, Dunedin, Thursday. Kaitoa, Nelson. Thursday, Karu, New Plymouth, Saturday. PROJECTED DEPARTURES. Holmlea, Onehunga, to-night. Korowai, Wellington, Saturday. Kartigi, Auckland, early. Kaitoa, Tarakohe, early. Karu, Wellington, early. SHIPPING NOTES. Karepo sailed this afternoon, for Auckland. Korowai is loading timber for Miramar and Wellington and cannot be despatched before early Saturday morning. Holmlea is to sail. to-night, with timber for Onehunga and Port Waikato. Kartigi left Dunedin last night, and is due at Greymouth on Thursday morning to load coal an’d timber for Auckland. Kaitoa is due on Thursday, from Nelson, to load for Tarakohe. Karu is due on Saturday, from New Plymouth, to load timber for Miramar and Wellington. TAMAHINE SAILINGS. There will be no sailing of the Tamahine from Picton to Wellington on Tuesday-; January 7. This vessel instead will leaye Picton on Monday, January 6.
