ANOTHER JAP. KILLED.

(Received December 17, 11.30 a.m.) SHANGHAI, December 16. Marooning hundreds of foreign of-fice-workers and shoppers, the Japanese authorities this afternoon suddenly stopped all ingress and egress from Hongkew, the Japanese-occu-pied portion of the International Settlement, following the murdei of another Japanese in that area. The latest victim was a Japanese medical student, who was shot in the back, allegedly by a Chinese, while vaccinating another Chinese. He was the thirteenth Japanese serviceman to be shot by Chinese in the Jap-anese-controlled areas of Shanghai, in recent weeks. FRENCH OFFICIAL SHOT. (Recd. Dec. 17, 1 p.m.). SHANGHAI, December 16. Chinese gunmen shot dead the French Consular Judge, Edouard Dhooghe, presumably because he turned over the Chinese Court in the French Concession, to Wang Ching - wei supporters. INDO-CHINA AND SIAM. SHANGHAI, December 16. _ From Hanoi, it is reported that in eight raids over the week-end 100 bombs were dropped on four cities m Indo-China.
