RUNANGA NOTES
[OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] A meeting was held in the school room, last evening, to make arrangements for the annual picnic. There was an attendance of eleven, and Mr. R. J. Armstrong presided. The balance sheet, showing a credit of £69/17/2, was received as satisfactory. This represents a decline of £l9, as compared with last year. It was decided to hold the picnic at Hokitika on February 1, and the Secretary is to make arrangements for trains. Mr. R. J. Armstrong was re-elected Chairman, and Mr. W. Duggan was again appointed Secretary, with Mr. J. Isherwood as Treasurer. Those present were formed into the committee with power to add.
