N.Z. TROOPS IN BRITAIN
SIR C. NEWALL’S INSPECTION [BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.] RUGBY, Dec. 9. Sir Cyril Newall, who will leave England shortly, to become Gover-nor-General of New Zealand, inspected units of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in the South of England. He took the salute from the Maori Battalion, and- commented on their smartness on parade. He also saw infantry, artillery, and medical units, and spoke to many of the officers and men.
