BOXING. s. DETROIT, December 6. The boxing promoter, Mike Jacobs, has announced that he has matched Arturo Godoy and Joe Louis for a heavyweight championship bout at Los Angeles in April. The semi-final in the Shallcrass Bowl was played between Mrs. Hannan (scr) and Mrs. Walmsley (3 bis), Mrs. Walmsley winning after a keen game. In the final, Mrs. Walmsley (3 bis) defeated Mrs. E. Moss (| bis).
