LADY GALWAY GUILD

The Lady Galway Guild, are appealing to all housewives in the Grey District to look through their linen presses and see if they could spare one clean warm blanket to be sent to England to help the distressed people. There are thousands of people homeless and without clothing there, and as Britain’s factories are far too busy with war work, it is our duty to help all who have suffered through the depredations of the enemy. If you cannot spare a blanket, a home-made warm quilt will be most-acceptable as the Guild will send a box of blankets ' away before Christmas. They, would be glad to' receive these gifts during the coming week. The Guild’s depot will be open every afternoon until. Saturday December 14, to receive : them.
