PLANE STRIKES HOUSE
SIX KILLED—TEN INJURED. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT..] CHICAGO, December 4. Eight were killed and eight were injured when a United air liner crashed here. Whilst approaching the municipal airport, she struck a two-storey house, ripping off both of her motors. Her occupants totalled sixteen. As the plane approached the airport, something went amiss. The plane struck the house, and also snapped power lines. This darkened the airport and the surrounding area. The plane crashed in flames. An hour afterwards five of the dead were removed. Those injured were taken to hospital.
