General situation: An anti-cyclone is centred east of the North Island, and a depression is approaching across the south Tasman Sea. Forecast: Fresh northerly winds, with a change to southerly , to-mor-row in Uw south. Weather cloudy and unsettled, with occasional rain. Mild temperatures. Seas becoming rather rough.
