LOST SHIP

NO MAILS ON BOARD. [per press association.] WELLINGTON, November 29. The next-of-kin of the passengers and New Zealand members of the crew on board the vessel which was the .victim of enemy action on Wednesday were notified of the occurrence before the announcement published in the newspapers' to-day. This was stated by the Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) in reply to a question to-night. The Postmaster-General (Mr. P. C. The survivors of the Port Brisbane were further interviewed regarding the raider’s commander.
