Sales reported: Bank of New Zealand £2/2/6, Commercial Bank 14/10, Taranaki Oil Developments 3/2. CHRISTCHURCH, September 20. Sales: Govt. 4 per cent. Bonds 1949 £lO6, Comm. Bank Australia 15/-, Bank of New Zealand 42/3 (2), 42/2, New Zealand Refrigerating (fully paid) 20/9, Macduffs (ord.) 10/6. CLUTHA. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 20. The Austral-New Zealand dredge on the Clutha has begun to wash. The first return is 452 ounces for 205 hours’ work, in 12 days. The. yardage dug was 125,000. MOSSY CREEK The Mossy Creek dredge return was 70oz lOdwts from 13610 yards of material dredged in 132| hours. GREY RIVER The Grey River dredge reports a return of 342 j oz for 134 hours from 95,301 yards. BLACKBALL CREEK. The Blackball Creek dredge return this week was 47 ounces in 196 hours.
