"[OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.! ’REEFTON, Sept. 19. The funeral of the late Mrs. Florence Elliston moved from the Church of the Sacred Heart yesterday morning for the Suburban cemetery. The burial services at the church were conducted by Rev. y Father O’Brien, and at the graveside by Father Butler. Members of the Inangahua Silver Band and officers attended. Messrs E. Collier, E. Baird, A. G. Reid, J. Garlick, S. Robinson, and L. Robinson were the pall bearers, representing the band of which Mr. Elliston was for many years the conductor. The following debt cases were heard at a sitting,of the Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday before Mr. G. G. Chisholm S.M. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in each case. J. M. Latham trading as “New Commercial Garage” v. L. Wastney for £4/18/1 with costs £l/5/6. D. A. Reid v. Jack Lamplough for, £l3 19/9 with costs £2/16/-. D. A. Reid, v.
