SHIPPING NOTES. Puriri sailed this morning, with timber for Onehunga and Port Waikato. Kiwitea completed loading last night, but owing to the swell on the bar, could not sail until this morning, for Wellington. Gabriella is loading for Miramar and Wellington, and is expected to sail to-morrow.

Poolta is loading for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, and is expected to sail to-morrow. Hokitika is to leave Wellington this evening, with cargo for Greymouth, being due here on Thursday morning. Pukeko is to leave Wellington today for Greymouth and is due tomorrow, to load coal for return. Kakapo is expected to leave Auckland to-morrow with cargo for Greymouth and will load here on Saturday, for Auckland.
