LEAGUE FOOTBALL
INANGAHUA REPRESENTATIVES. The Inangahua Rugby League competitions were continued on Sunday in showery weather. At Ikamatua, the Grey Valley team won the Flannigan Cup by defeating Kiwis by 11 points to 3 after an even match. Mr C. McElwee was referee. At Reefton, the home third grade team defeated Waiuta by 11 points to nil. The selectors, Messrs C. McElwee, I. E. Scott and F. Cutbush, have announced the following team to represent Inangahua in the match for the Northern Union Cup against West Coast, at Greymouth, on September 29; —Full-back, P. Cutbush (Kiwis); three-quarters: R. Leggoe (Grey Valley), A. O’Malley (G.V.), W. Cutbush (Waratahs); five-eighths: P. Scott (Waratahs, capt.), J. Smith (War.); half: A. Watson (War.);.forwards: A. Turner (K.); C. Dalzell (G.V.), E. Roughan (G.V.), G. August (G.V.), W. Hansen (Waitahu), N. Orsbourn (War.). Reserves: —Back: T. F. McKenzie; forwards: R. Churstain, A. McVicar.
