The “New York Post” features the first series of articles “Men Against America,” headed by a Nazi Consul s threats to an American editor, who was warned of reprisals by Hitler. The charges are supported by a photostated letter from the German Consul at New Orleans, Von Spiegel, who attempted in February 1938 to intimidate and coerce the editor of a pro-American German-language newspaper “The Texas Free Press. He said that in 128 cities and towns throughout the Dominion, 11,343 houses had been built, or were under construction, the number occupied being 8,142.
