U-BOAT SUNK.

Gun crews, aboard the liner “Andania” (which was torpedoed last week by a U-boat), who were in fancy dress, with grease paint running down their faces, fought a duel with the U-boat for two. and a-half hours, and sank it shortly before the vessel, Andania, foundered. The torpedo struck the Andania during a concert for the men off duty.

LIFEBOATMEN DISMISSED.

LONDON, June 27.

The coxswain and motor mechanic of a Hythe lifeboat have been dismissed from the Lifeboat Service, following on their refusal to. take a boat across the Channel to assist in the Dunkirk evacuation.
