The Istanbul correspondent of the British United Press says 1 it is officially stated that Turkey has broken off commercial relations withfjtaly. All Turkish ships have been ordered to proceed to the nearest Turkish port and await orders. An Ankara message states that precautions for all eventualities are proceeding quietly throughout Turkey.
